This solo project presented at The Balcony in The Hague, consisted on the creation of a character named Koenraad Vischer, a dutch unemployed conspiracy theorist suffering the housing crisis in the Netherlands. The installation allowed the visitors to explore Koenraad's computer desk, who is a big fan of my heteronyms Luke Masters and Jordan Finch.

Curated by Emmanuel Martínez, this group show presented works by several artists that work with new technologies and specially metaverses. I presented Lobby for Colonia Estates, which consisted on a spot with three seats in which you could sit dow and read brochures about the development, fictional contracts with politicians given as bribes, postcards, and cookies. In the metaverse you could buy your own speedboat trajinera with your name.

Life and work of José Luis de la Rosa

Curated by Josseline Pinto, this solo show at La Rebelde's project room was developed by creating a fake character named José Luis de la Rosa, a rancher and amateur painter from Las Peñas Negras, Oaxaca who becomes obsessed with the idea of aliens abducting his cows. The show consisted in a small retrospective which showed his first works, with a naturalistic aesthetic and the evolution of his paintings as his paranoia and obsessions grew until he vanished.

This show curated by Bryan Munguia explored the idea of beaches as a paradise spot from the view of latinamerican artists. The work I showed was an advertisement for Los Manantiales by Colonia Estates. It showed a video campaign along with postcards for the real estate project in Xochimilco.

In 2023 I was selected to curate a show for the Centro Cultural de España about artists that had influenced me. I was joined by Mariana Camargo & Elisa Cantú to create the exhibition. The show included artists like Luis Camnitzer, Miltos Manetas, Laura Anderson Barbata, Grassroot Economics, Minerva Cuerva, Daniel G. Andujar, UBERMORGEN, Keren Cytter, Sin Kabeza Productions, Nora Renaud & Gema FB Martin.

Curated by Paulina Ascencio & Daniel Garza Usabiaga, Eje Neovolcánico was an exhibition that showed the Mexican tradition of making art using volcanoes as a subject. The work I showed was a machinima recorded in Second Life and narrated by Mariano Osorio which staged the birth of a digital volcano in a Metaverse.

An ARG in which broken smartphones were repaired by transforming them into sculptures. This show explores the life hack claim of drying electronic devices in rice as a repair method. By adding polyester resin, handheld devices get trapped inside rice bags. The sculptures are then generated through a social contract, in which a broken device that has lost its value, regains it through alternate gaming.

Grupo Maxico is a fictional art group. Each member is embodied randomly by different artists for each show. For Nuevas Constelaciones I embodied Lola Revueltas, and artist that's obsessed with her first love. Using GPT-3 I generated a phrase that was shaped in neon and created love letters which were then folded as hearts. Everything was installed inside an old bathtub and people could take the love letters away.

A group show focused on internet culture and memes. For it I created a website using Open AI's CODEX which generates a Cat Party and trained a StyleGAN3 network with memes to generate Cheems. These were printed on cotton canvas and stretched.

A Swiss Carpenter was the first episode of my Simulation series. Using GLIDE Inferencing, GPT-2, and GPT-3 I generated a fictional friend of Urs Fischer that gave a museum visit through an app and an audioguide. People didn't new everything was a fiction until the performance finished after they received a give-away tote bag. Each element hold human and AI work. The silkscreens on the tote bags and -shirts, as well as the printed documents with images and text.

For TOGETHER, Alonso Cedillo & La Galería Rebelde, curated by Josseline Pinto, opened a Mini-Game created by Nimda Corporation's Friend of Corruption Museum.
Cedillo created a fictional show that portrays sexism and racism in AI datasets by generating an exhibition by an artist named Maxx Giggles, generated entirely using machine learning and public datasets.

Museo Autoservicio is an initiative that seeks to offer a new experience to approach and appreciate different manifestations of contemporary art from the health crisis caused by COVID-19, which has caused museums and other spaces to close their doors, as well as to maintain a physical distance between people.
Under this scenario, a first temporary exhibition is proposed, set up in a parking lot and that can be visited inside a car: The objects in the mirror are closer than they seem.
